we got an early respite from the heat at the end of september and the fish noticed. water temps dropped quickly from the high 80s to the high 70s over the last three weeks and Has brought bait inshore along with the reds, snook and trout. clients have been catching inshore slams on almost every trip. big reds are all over the flats, snook can be found from the beaches to the river mouths and trout are starting to show in numbers over some of the shallower grass flats. it's a great time to get out.
