Fished Bishop Harbor Boat and Kayak Launch and surrounding canals and islands on Thursday. Caught a few small snook, a couple of slot reds and a flounder in a couple of hours of fishing. Not a wade for the meek or weak but very interesting.
Friday had me fishing the inside of honeymoon with a couple of companions. Picked up half a dozen big trout and as many reds ranging from 23 to 16 inches.
Saturday was another epic trout day. Caught close to 100 beautiful big winter trout between myself and my two fishing partners. All on 1/4 or 1/8 oz Jig heads rigged with a variety of plastics in a variety of colors.
Ended the weekend fishing Along the Sunshine Skyway Bridge with a client as passionate about Fishing as I am. He's relatively new to wade fishing but is a quick learner and was Quickly Keeping up and even outfishing me. WE caught some nice trout and worked hard to find some reds but never did. It's truly a pleasure to fish with people that love the sport.
